Chad Riney - Founder

I grew up in a small town in rural Illinois and, after high school, embarked on a journey to Chicago to pursue new opportunities. I earned my BS in Technical Management with a concentration in Accounting from DeVry University and began my career in corporate accounting. During my eight years in the city, I advanced from a part-time accounting assistant to A/R clerk, A/R team lead, and eventually staff accountant. Along the way, I gained valuable experience across multiple industries, including paper products, freight, and higher education. I also honed my skills in Excel, MAS90, AS400, and PeopleSoft. One of my proudest moments from my Chicago years was being selected as a "high achiever" and attending a seminar in Florida.

After my time in Chicago, I returned to my small-town roots to raise a family, where I was blessed with the total package—my wife and three wonderful children. Back home, I continued my accounting career at a local start-up manufacturing company, where I was the seventh employee hired. I took on a variety of responsibilities, including IT administration, payroll, and office management. During this time, I became an expert in QuickBooks, MS Access, NetSuite, Avalara (AvaTax), SquareUp, MineralTree, SAP Concur, and Salesforce. A major career highlight was leading the migration from QuickBooks to NetSuite and serving as the NetSuite administrator.

Over my 13-year tenure, I was promoted multiple times, taking on roles such as Senior Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, and ultimately Accounting and Cost Manager. Now, I’m embarking on a new journey, leveraging my extensive corporate accounting and IT experience to help other companies achieve success.
